April 2009 Gymnast Profiles
Kate, Mackenzie, Heidi, Chloe, Alexis
Kate, 6yrs – Level 2
She attends Kindergarten in Deerfield. Her pets include her dog, Shamus, and her cat, Pesky. She also likes to play soccer, ride the bus and go to school, and the game “Red Light, Green Light”. Her favorite things to do in gymnastics are the tumble trak, the pit, bars and vault. When she gets older she wants to “live to infinity and beyond!”.
Mackenzie, 8yrs – Level 3
She attends 3rd grade in Deerfield. She has a brother, Jakob. She has several pets including a dog, Roxy, a cat, Ethan ,and two hamsters named Midnight and Carmel. Her favorite things to do other than gymnastics, include horseback riding, soccer, hiking, and sledding. In gymnastics, she enjoys doing back walkovers and mill circles. When she gets older she wants to be a veterinarian.
Heidi, 9yrs – Level 5
She attends 3rd grade at Bement. She has a brother, Zach, and a sister Hillary. She has a dog named Ginger. She enjoys skiing, soccer, and art. Her favorite things in gymnastics include anything on tumble trak, front handsprings, and round off back handsprings. When she gets older, she would like to teach 3rd grade.
Chloe, 11yrs – Level 6
She attends 5th grade in Greenfield. She has a sister, Sophie. Other things she enjoys along with gymnastics is dance. Her favorite thing to do in gymnastics is the floor. When she gets older, she would love to be a coach!
Alexis, 12 yrs – Level 8
She attends 7th grade at Frontier. Her pets include her Collie named Molly and her Siamese cat, Ming. Other than gymnastics, she enjoys hanging with friends, reading and writing. As a gymnast she enjoys tumbling and dance. When she gets older, she wants to continue a good education.
