Tumbling Tigers February Team Notes
Our meet season has truly gotten underway. All of the kids on team have had at least 2 meets. They have gotten off to a great start. Thanks to all the parents that helped make our home meet such a success. I have a few dishes left over from the food table so if you are missing one, come and check with me. We are having a warm clothing drive for our Community Project that I hope will help our gymnasts enjoy giving to others. I have also handed out a mid-season survey for you and your child to fill out and hand back in to me. As always, payments must be up to date and current through the previous month. I have given out all the team uniforms that have come in, I realize we are still waiting on some warm up pants and a few jackets. Please make sure all these items are paid for. We are very busy this month with most kids having 3 meets; 2 are home meets and 1 is at Westfield YMCA.
I am very proud of the way our kids conduct themselves. At the beginning of the year I included in your papers "meet etiquette". I will remind you of a few of the rules. Parents must stay in the viewing area and are not allowed on the meet floor. If you have a question regarding your child''s score please see your head coach. Often girls flashing scores will make a mistake. The true score is the one the judge writes down on the official score sheet. No flash pictures are to be taken and cell phones must be silent. We are having an Invitational meet on the 22nd, so I will need bartering parents to help make up goody bags for the gymnasts. If you can help us get fun little items for the goody bags that would be great. We need approximately 100 items.
